Sparks began to fly immediately when Matthew and Cindy bumped into each other a few years after being introduced. The pair have been inseparable ever since!

THE PROPOSAL

Their big moment happened when Matthew took Cindy on a spontaneous road trip to Calgary. Along the way he insisted on stopping to take photos of the view and instructed Cindy to face the mountains while he unknowingly snuck up behind her and knelt to the ground. When she turned around, he asked, “Will you spend the rest of your life me?”

THE BIG DAY

The pair had an intimate destination wedding in Jamaica at The Rose Hall, a unique off-resort estate. The ceremony was down by the ocean’s edge and afterwards guests were transported up to the estate where cocktails were held under a stunning 100-year old ficus tree. The reception was held outdoors under a tent with a romantic blush, gold and cream colour scheme.

When Cindy saw the whole reception she was in awe of how beautifully it all came together, but Matthew simply couldn’t take his eyes off of his gorgeous bride.

The newlyweds chose to do a day-after photo session with their photographer and had so much fun taking the time for photos of just the two of them.
