Maricel Salalila and Ramil Ramirez traveled a lot during their 10 years of dating, so a destination wedding was the obvious choice. They got married on the beach in Negril, Jamaica—Hotel Riu Negril accommodated all their needs and provided a beautiful and intimate place for them to celebrate with their 26 guests. The wedding party dressed in neutrals to match the sand, while the guests dressed in comfortable, beachy attire to match the colorful, tropical surrounding. Maricel kept her own wedding day attire classic with an A-line lace wedding dress and carried an orchid bouquet by Tai Flora Negril, and Ramil wore a neutral suit with a matching orchid boutonniere. After Maricel and Ramil said “I do,” they hosted a laid-back and fun reception where they danced the night away with their guests. An unforgettable moment? “For me, it was the reggae band,” Maricel says. “It was just pure live music, and it was awesome.” See the cute details, captured by Julius & James, below.
