Chance, fate, destiny, or pure luck, much like some of the improbable stories our wedding couples would later share of how they met, Dr Paulette Hossmann was in the right place, at the right time and responded with the same principle that guides her today: “I cannot say no”. Dr Hossmann was going about her regular business of installing tropical arrangements, made with flowers from her farm, in hotel lobbies of the resort capital of Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica. As she fussed over the correct placement of each stem of flower, disaster was brewing in a particular wedding office nearby. The then wedding florist was unable to deliver on a bridal bouquet and an anxious couple was waiting to get married! The Wedding Planner was desperate and called on Dr Hossmann for assistance. Dr Hossmann, clueless about the task, with few trials and errors assembled what would be the first of thousands of bridal bouquets. 20+ years later, The Company has grown to be a full service wedding and event design and planning business, guiding client’s concepts from idea to production. With over 200 employees including sales and event planners, florists, carpenters, seamstresses, executive, warehouse and support staff, Tai Flora has been able to consistently deliver ultra-modern, trend-setting events for local and international clients. This foundation has established Tai Flora Luxe as the ‘go-to’ partner for many independent event planners and has earned the business the awards of Caribbean Wedding Industry’s Event Planner and Floral Designer 2018. The Jamaica based Destination Wedding and Events business has also had their work featured in over 15 international magazines including Brides, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, and Muna Luchi.
