Peta-Gaye and Andrew have been friends since 2006. The two have mutual friends and hung out in the same circle for years. However, it wasn’t until the end of 2008 when their mutual interest in each other was sparked, and the two began dating. Peta-Gaye and Andrew celebrated their union with a destination wedding in Strawberry Hill, Jamaica. A Deep Understanding We have a deep connection that sometimes is so difficult to articulate. We understand each other very well and have grown on the same path with the same goals in mind for years now. We are similar in many ways which makes growing together easy, yet our differences mean we both bring something unique to our family table. The Proposal Peta-Gaye has always loved Chicago. Chi-city, as we call it, holds a special place in her heart because of the accomplishments she has attained there. It’s also where we took our first trip together, and where I first conveyed my love to her. It made sense to me that this was the perfect place to propose. I took her to dinner at the Signature Room Restaurant, after which we strolled around the Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain.
